Camp Hands of Hope is a weekend long bereavement camp for youth and their loved ones who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the past three years. The upcoming camp will take place February 17-19 at Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The online application process will open Friday, January 6. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

Camp is open to youth ages 5-18 and their caregivers who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the past three years. (There must be at least one adult to attend with the camper). This is an all expense paid weekend for the family, including lodging and meals. Each family is asked to pay a $50 administrative fee to help offset the processing of applications, HOWEVER, if that fee is a financial hardship, they can apply for a waiver after their applications have been accepted and confirmed.

    The Weekly Dolphin Digest

    Parents,
We hope everyone had a restful and relaxing Winter Break. As we start the second half of our school year we want to ask our parents for some help. We have challenged our 1st and 2nd graders to be fluent in addition and subtraction along with challenging our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to be fluent with their multiplication facts. Math fact fluency is the ability to recall the answers to basic math facts automatically and without hesitation. Fact fluency is gained through significant practice. So parents, as you go about your evenings or weekends, ask your child(ren) basic math fact questions such as 12-7 or 8+6 (1st/2nd grade) or multiplication facts for our 3rd-5th graders so that they may become fluent with their math facts.
