Rice Creek would like to again send a huge “THANK YOU” to our students, parents, staff, community and especially Lake Carolina Lower and Upper campus for helping to support our family members affected by the fire. Every family was so thankful for your generosity.
This coming Tuesday, February 21, we will be having our Black History Program during the school day. There are two sections. The first will be for our CD, K, 1st and 4th grade students from 8:30 - 9:15 am and our 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade classes will be from 9:20 - 10:05 am. Please join us if you are available.

The Weekly Dolphin Digest, 2/2
Hello Dolphins,
What an awesome community we have here at Rice Creek Elementary!!! As you all know, this past Sunday, The Reserves at Lake Carolina had a building destroyed by fire. Unfortunately, one of our staff members and 4 other Rice Creek families were displaced because of this fire. We conducted a “Fill the Bucket” project this past Tuesday and Wednesday to collect monetary donations. Thus far, we have raised over $3300.00 for our families from that 2 day event. ALL of the proceeds will be distributed equally to the family members. We are still collecting monetary donations in the front office if you would still like to contribute.
Our kindergarteners celebrated the 100th day of school yesterday. Our teachers provided different activities centered around 100 for the students. We have pictures below to show how adorable some of them were.
Finally, we are looking forward to our Father/Daughter Dance tomorrow evening from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm! Dads, we will have someone here to take pictures for you to purchase. Tickets will be available at the door.
