April is National Autism Awareness Month and the Specialist team is participating in the Strides for Autism Walk on May 2 that is put on by the South Carolina Autism Society.

The walk is located at Saluda Shoals Park in Irmo (Saluda Shoals 5605 Bush River Road, Irmo, 29212). Onsite registration will begin at 8am and the walk will begin at 9am. The walk is very family friendly so feel free to bring your little ones and family members!

It is free to participate, however if you want to register and purchase a t-shirt ($20) you may do so. The money raised from the t-shirt sales and donations will stay in South Carolina to help fund research, therapies, and to support children and families of those diagnosed with Autism.
